Beautiful Mothers
Mother, oh Mother, come shake out your cloth
empty the dustpan, poison the moth,
hang out the washing and butter the bread,
sew on a button and make up a bed.

Where is the mother whose house is so shocking?
She’s up in the nursery, blissfully rocking.

Oh, I’ve grown shiftless as Little Boy Blue.
Dishes are waiting and bills are past due.

The shopping’s not done and there’s nothing for stew
and out in the yard there’s a hullabaloo -
but I’m playing Kanga and this is my Roo.
Look! Aren’t her eyes the most wonderful hue?

The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow,
for children grow up, as I’ve learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep.
I’m rocking my baby and babies don’t keep.

What I Love

Beautiful Friends,
How are You doing today?
I hope you are all doing well and feeling at peace.

To tell you something about my day,  I sincerely love making a home so as always I am busy right here and enjoying,
being the heart of this home.

Mostly me and the kitty are by ourselves, because my husband is away quite often, with work.
But I am still the heart of this home, and I do my best
to keep it, because I know how important it is.

At the moment I am cooking something and I hope it will turn out the way I have planned it *smiles.
The picture is borrowed, but it is something like that.

What are you cooking today, pretty hearts?

Happy Saturday!

Her Strength

When a man truly loves a woman
she becomes his weakness.
When a woman truly loves a man
he becomes her strength.

 Friday Roses

I hope you have a beautiful and restful weekend, friends ! Today I am sharing with You,
our pretty roses and of course a poem !
How I love roses.
My favorite colour is pink, white and amber.
What is yours, pretty heart...?

Goodnight My Dear

Goodnight my dear,
I’m glad I have you near,
For the many things you’ve brought me,
There’s nothing I shall fear.

Goodnight my dear,
Let my songs wipe your tears,
We’ve certainly got each other,
And we always shall through the years.

Goodnight my dear,
Let my prayer bring you cheer,
The moon is bright and the stars are shining,
And they bless us always here.

The Gift Of Love

Many Christmases ago, while I was still I child
I remeber a very special Christmas,
which became -
The Christmas I would never forget.

It was during the war, my mother, my sister and I were living alone, in a small humble place, which was temporary ours.

We did not have much.
We did not have anything at all.
Allt that we had was borrowed and all that we once owned, now became just a memory, a glimpse and a shadow of a life that was once ours.

I remember a little Christmas tree, with decorations made of paper in green and red, by gentle, loving hands, of a mother, that loved her little daughters. That made a sincere and loving effort, to comfort her small children, during great poverty and war.

I remember a love so bright and a beautiful smile,
that filled every corner of that dark room.
And I remember thinking -

....love must be the light of the world....

I remember a song, that did not cease,
through the many days of darkness and war.
I cannot tell you what song it was,
beacuse it has now faded away,
with the rest of my long gone childhood memories.

But I remember it was a song of hope and it had my mother's gentle voice.
And it sang in my heart that night.
I did not understand it but I chose to believe it.

And the gift of love saved me that Christmas, long time ago,
in a time, which is now faded, loving memories.
But the gift of love and hope it still remains,
in my childlike heart....

With Humble Love,
 Jasmina & Jimmy

Wishing You A Beautiful Christmas.

And a small piece of beautiful opera.
It always comforts me.

The First Words Of Eve

O, thou for whom
And from whom I was formed flesh of thy flesh,
And without whom am to no end, my guide
And head.

To My Beloved Husband

If ever two were one, then surely we.
If ever man were loved by wife, then thee.
If ever wife was happy in a man,
compare with me, you women, if you can.

I prize thy love more than whole mines of gold.
Or all the riches that the East doth hold.
My love is such that rivers cannot quench,
nor ought but love from thee give recompetence.

Thy love is such I can no way repay...
The heavens reward thee manifold, I pray.

Then while we live, in love let us so persever
That when we live no more, we may live ever.

Precious Love

Whether or not you see me -
I will be there
without happiness or sadness.
Whether or not you think of me,
the feelings will be there,
without coming or going.

Whether or not you love me the love will be there-
without decreasing or increasing.

Wether or not your with me
my hands are in yours without letting go

come into my arms or
let me into your heart
quietness, love, silence, joy.
      ~Anonymous~

Thank You Beloved Father,
for never letting go of my hands, so small,
and of my heart so simple yet true.

Thank You for loving me
thou I am not able to imagine
or comprehend-
how much a father can really love
a little girl.

Kiss Me Forever Once More

While the stars and the moon were still sleeping,
and silently resting, -
in the bosom and the comfort of the tender night.

There, were the candles were still burning
and love filled the air-
I laid in your arms-
As I so often
find myself do.

There is a whole world out there
of endless beauty to explore,
and fall in love with-

but none of it can be compared
to the beauty resting-
so softly within your heart.
Within your tender hands
that so gently comfort
my weakness.

 How I love thee!
Thy gracious smile is my simple inspiration-
my loving humble guide.

What endless depth of truth does not lie
within the heart-
that so tenderly loves?
That uncoditionally gives
of all that it has,
without counting-
without holding back?

Oh kiss me once again my beloved.
Kiss me forever once more-
for with you
I can see the light.
I can feel it.
It is so beautiful,
that it makes me cry.
And it is embracing you-
And it is embracing me.

Thank You Beloved Father,
for living within every heart
that so tenderly loves.

That Will Never Cease

My love is like a sweet red rose
Whose beauty is profound and true.
My love is like a vast ocean
That goes down deep and blue.

My love is like a living river
With a flow that will never cease.
My love is like a colorful bird
Flying high up with blissful ease.

My love is like a happy song
That goes on and on forever,
Singing about you, my sweet angel
Sent to me from above.

I am so blessed to have found you
and I give you all my love.

I love you most beautiful man on this earth, Jimmy....
You are so amazing
and being with you makes us amazing

Forever in your arms,
forever in my dreams
Forever in my heart
I love you......

Beautiful Life

There lived once a young girl whose perfect grace
of character was the wonder of those who knew her.
She wore on her neck a gold locket which no one was ever
allowed to open.

One day, in a moment of unusual confidence,

one of her companions
was allowed to touch its spring and learn its secret.
She saw written these words :
'Whom having not seen, I love.'
That was the secret of her beautiful life.

The Need of The Hour

What doth our country need?
Not armies standing with sabers gleaming
ready for the fight.
Not increased navies, skillful and commanding;
to bound the waters with an iron might;

Not haughty men with glutted purses tryingt to purchase souls, and keep the power of the place.
Not jeweled dolls with one another vying
For palms of beauty, elegance, and grace.

But we want women, strong of soul, yet lowly
with that rare meekness, born of gentleness.
Women whose lives are pure and clean and holy,
the women whom all little children bless.

Brave, earnest women, helpful to each other,
with finest scorn for all things low and mean.
Women who hold the names of wife and mother
Far nobler than the title of a queen.

Oh! These are they who mould the men of story,
These mothers, oftime shorn of grace and youth,
who, worn and weary, ask no greater glory
Than making some young soul the home of truth.

Who sow in hearts all fallow for the sowing
the seeds of virtue and of scorn for sin,
And, patient, watch the beauteous harvest growing
and weed out tares which crafty hands cast in.

Women who do not hold the gift of beauty
As some rare treasure to be bought and sold,
But guard it as a precious aid to duty —
The outer framing of the inner gold.

Women who, low above their cradles bending,
let flattery’s voice go by, and give no heed,
While their pure prayers like incense are ascendingt
these are our country’s pride, our country’s need.

My Heart Is Your Shelter

Suddenly I turned around and she was standing there.
With silver bracelets on her wrists and flowers in her hair.

She walked up to me so gracefully and took my crown of thorns.

'Come in' she said
'I'll give you shelter from the storm'.

I love you, Jimmy....

Home

The dearest spot on earth to me is home sweet home.
The fairyland I long to see is home sweet home.
There, how charm'd the sense of hearing.
There, where love is so endearing.

All the world is not so cheering as home sweet home
The dearest spot of earth to me is home sweet home
The fairyland I long to see is home sweet home.

I've taught my heart the way to prize My Home sweet home. I've learn'd to look with lover's eyes on home sweet home.

There where vows are truly plighted,
There, where hearts are so united,
All the world besides I've slighted,
for home sweet home.

The Quietude of Your Home
Thank God, O women for the quietude of your home, and that you are queen in it.
Men come at eventide to the home;
but all day long you are there, beautifying it,
sanctifying it, adorning it, blessing it.

Better be there than wear a queen's coronet.
Better be there than carry the purse of a princess.
It may be a very humble home.
There may be no carpet on the floor.
There may be no pictures on the wall.

There may be no silks in the wardrobe;
but, by your faith in God,
and your cheerful demeanor,
you may garniture that place with more splendor
than the upholsterer's hand ever kindled.

Their Flowers Bloom In The Spring......

You make the sun shine on a cloudy day. When I'm sick you kiss the pain away Your tender voice took away my fears. Your hand that wiped away my tears.

The love you give so honest and pure
Keeping me forever safe and secure.

You make flowers bloom in the spring
It was you who fixed my broken wing. Mom because of you I now know love
My guardian angel from above.

My Dad, my sister and me, at the age of 9 and 5.
I Used To Race, I Used To Hurry

I used to race, I used to hurry,
I used to fret and frown and worry,
My children thought they had new names–
“Hurry Up” and “We’re Gonna Be Late”!

Even when we were at home–
Laundry, cleaning, answering phone…
I never had the extra time
To sit and cherish these children of mine.

But in His grace the Lord broke through
My sister and I making a little snowman
And I saw everything anew.
We have but only a few days here
To love and share and pull them near.

And while there’re things that must be done,
Our lives are like the setting sun.
While it's light is burning bright,

Before we face, alone, the night,
Let’s stop the madness of this race–
Let’s take back a slower pace!
Look into those grinning faces,

Plan your day with lots of spaces,
Grab a hand and take a walk,
Listen while your children talk,
Let them show you childhood things,

Take turns laughing on the swing,
Snuggle up beside the fire,
Kiss the hurt left by a brier,
Meet them with a morning smile,
Go out and fish a little while.

Choose carefully how you spend your time.
Don't wait until you sunddenly find
The wrenching grief of a heart that aches

.....Who loved to little and found too late...
